The council consists of key citizens from each of the respective counties and oversees management of our centralized E-911 dispatch center which is located in Fort Gaines, Georgia. The Authority meets the first Friday of the first month of each quarter at 1:00 p.m. in the Clay County Commission Chambers.

This council was created for the public purpose of promoting and expanding business, industry and trade in Clay, Quitman, Stewart and Randolph Counties and to attract and support new business and tourism industry to provide increased employment for the citizens living within the jurisdiction f the Authority, thereby stimulating the economic growth of our area. This Authority will cooperate with all entities with like goals located in any of the above named counties. Board members are appointed by each of the participating counties. The Authority's annual meeting is the second Thursday of January. Meetings are held quarterly in April 12, July 12, Oct. 11th at 12:30 p.m. Locations rotate each meeting.
